Connecting creators, making things

Creatorsgarten is a collective of antidisciplinary creators. We bring people together to work on new ideas, trying new things and collaborate across disciplines. The wiki is our public knowledge base.

For event organizers

  • Finding information about a specific event? Look at the full event list, which also provides more links to pages such as organizer notes and feedback.
  • Want to make the best use of our wiki? When knowledge is public by default, people can easily reach the information they need. The how to use this wiki page has some more tips. Also check out the syntax page and the template list.
  • Looking for specifications on creating event artwork? The event images page details what kind of images should be created. There are also plenty of examples in there in case you need some inspiration.
  • Finding knowledge about live-streaming? Livegarten is a guild inside Creatorsgarten that livestreams and archives our events. Our livestreaming setup, tips and tricks, as well as know-hows are documented in our videos page.
  • Curious how we manage our YouTube channel? Also check out our videos page. Spoiler: We manage our YouTube channel on GitHub. This means you can contribute to our channel too!
  • Want to integrate with our member system? Check out Authgarten. Organizers can build custom software systems that integrates with our website’s member system to enhance the event experience. This can be useful in hackathons or competitions (e.g. project directory and voting systems).

Header Box

@chayapatr
note: I think the spacing between each header is a bit too large, what do you all think?
—@chayapatr
@dtinth
actually i think there should be more spacing, see Oliver Schöndorfer (2022). “The Right Space Around Headings in Web Typography”. Pimp my Type. notice how in the article there is 80px of space before each heading, while we have only 50px

@chayapatr
Oh, nice article -- but actually, i mean the gap between headers like h1 and h2, not about header and text
—@chayapatr
@dtinth
i reduced the space below the heading
