3****0,000 THB — Minimum viable stupid hackathon (ACHIEVED!)

  • On this budget, we will be able to organize a hackathon for around 60-70 people, including:
    • Food
    • Snacks
    • Drinks
    • Basic name tags
    • Accessories, such as pens, papers, markers, boards, post-its, garbage bag, etc.
    • Most importantly, lots of fun!
  • Above this budget, we will be able to improve the event as budget allows.

50,000 THB — Make it more awesome and memorable (ACHIEVED!)

  • This budget should be enough for us to make the hackathon a truly memorable experience. In addition to the fun experience from this hackathon, we can also have:
    • Swag giveaway for participants, e.g. stickers and T-shirts.
    • Some stupid prizes for our participants.
    • Increased event capacity.
    • An upgraded lunch experience (e.g. something healthier than free pizza).

50,000,000 THB — The stupid hackathon is really getting stupid, perhaps?

  • This is a stupidly high budget. We can probably do more insane things? 🤔
    • Buy each participant a MacBook Pro.
    • Fly each participant to San Francisco, and have a hackathon there instead.
    • Have a popular idol group come to help kickstart the hackathon.
